Quite frankly, i miss the old protocols. Most of the Mistress's i talk to still believe in the use of the collar......i quite like that.

For a time here in the US and probably Canada to, collars were a fashion items for "Goths" and others. It was trendy at the local Jr College I lived near by in the 90's and into the early 2000's. Instead of being called boy friend or girl friend, they would say master/dominat and slave/submissive. It was casual. there were places in Los angels, like "The Bunker" were Goth, Punk, trance and Dark music was played while they sipped expensive cocktails and watched BDSM Light Demos. People worth Leather to a degree or Latex as fashion. They may have a rigger do some rope work on a bottom subject as a Performance show. Some of those people ventured into the real communities since the door was opened in such clubs. Many who came over, were taken aback and pretty much were scared shitless.

I do not morn the change form leather and other overt kink attire. I do mourn the lack of decorum. I mourn the the fact that som many now follow on line erotic story lines as realities. I mourn the fact that so many so called dominants claim to be experts without really knowing what the hell they are doing.

But, i do realize the way things are changes.evolves. We each have to decide what is good for us.
