She would dream sweet dreams of freedom
While under his lock and key
She would dream of a life abroad
Upon a salty sea
To disappear off the earth
Never to be seen again
Always to awaken
Knowing he'd ruin her plan
She would dream sweet dreams of freedom
Staring longingly out of her cell
Wondering when she would escape
From that miserable fiery Hell
She would imagine herself smiling
Her eyes shining bright with glee
Luster brought to her face
Dancing around happily
She sank deeper and deeper while
Months turned into years
And suddenly her sadness
Turned into her fears
The young girl was terrified of
What her life may become
If she were to stay covered
With that nasty dirty scum
Then as she sank deeper into
Her, oh so, dreary abyss
She realized her dreams
May not be so amiss
She spotted a small beacon
And though very far away
That light helped her see
She didn't have to stay
This story, you see is not to
Make one sad
But to tell of her life
After leaving the cad
That small beacon I spoke of
Kept getting a little larger
Until one night
It was right there upon her
The bright light approached
Carrying with it the key
She used to break out of
Her small cell and flee
She fled that night at
A heart-stopping run
And she hoped she wasn't too late
To find her very special One
Because no longer was freedom
Her only sole dream
But to be entrapped one more
Only by that amazing beam
The promise of happiness echoed
All around her
While she waited impatiently
For that light to once again stir
The moment it did,
She was in an all out sprint
And when she reached that light
It was simply heaven sent
She bathed in its glory
And basked in the sun
When the thought suddenly hit her
The fun had only begun
The once gloomy girl
And the small light from the sky
Cuddled together
And breathed a heavy sigh
To be free was no longer
Even on her mind
Because to be free on that level
Was a much better kind
The beacon turned to a light and the
Light into a man
The man that is now, lovingly
Holding her hand
The man that makes her smile, and makes
Her every dream come true
The man that holds and kisses her softly
And sweetly calls her his darling
The dreamer once stuck
Behind great and daring bars
Is now smiling sheepishly
Staring at the stars
The weight has been lifted
From her once battered heart
And she's skipping away now
To her brand new start
She's with a man now that
Truly brightens her days
And gives her chills with his
Deep, sexy gaze
He holds her tightly,
Wrapped in his arms
And makes sure, to her
There will be no harm
She whimpers at his voice
And simply melts at his touch
She can't remember ever caring for
Someone quite this much
She feels something there, she
Has never felt before
And now the only dream she dreams
Is that he never walks out her door
The dreamer has fallen
Almost like a star
Into something
She dreams
Will go
Very
Far
