Psychology has always been a fascination for me. I don't think there's anything better than knowing how someone ticks. So I tend to observe people very thoroughly and am able to make assessments based on even what is seemingly surpurflous information. I am almost obsessed with the concept of why. Why people choose to do the things they do or do not do.
I loathe the whole dating club/bar scene. People always seem as though they have to put on some sort of act because they're in public. I'm too real, here and now for that. I never learned the "art" of subterfuge.
I'm a very assertive person outwardly. I don't keep my opinions/feelings to myself (most of the time) even when I could either hurt/piss someone off or get myself in really deep s***. I easily chit chat with just about any stranger on the street but I don't go any deeper than the surface until I know someone very well. Once I've opened up though, it's complete and total. I give of myself to friends and loved ones 100% and expect the same from them and when I don't get it am frequently the victim of my own self-imposed disappointment. But I am also exceptionally loyal because once I have made such an emotional investment I don't ever turn away from it. Years may pass but I still step up for any and everyone I have ever made that emotional investment for....sometimes even for those who have betrayed me, if the need be great enough.[/font]
