I will be around for a few days before I deactivate my totally from alt. but just long enough to make sure this post is still on view for a few more days.

I have been most active in this "group" and I do not have anything against anyone nor am I mad at anyone but I am disgusted with alt.

I have corrected this 3 times since this morning. There are numerous other reasons I am leaving here. .

A few years back I had a different Gold account under a different handle but I wanted to shut it down but for 3 months later alt kept dinging my credit card. When I contacted them they were really nasty about it. I had expected them to shut it down and I would continue as a standard member. The jerk on the other end stated that I did not close my account right. With some threats I did get refunded for 2 months but they got me for 1 month. They were notified well in advance and given 30 days notice of the closure of my account. That is why I do not have any more paid accounts with alt.

More recently a few days ago, just for an experiment I reopened another free account just to see what I would happen and I stated my gender as a T and as TS/TG/TV and they approved the account but put me down as a male and posted the pic that they use for a standard as a male cuz I did not post as pic. They did not use the standard pics they use for a T or a cis female. I found a page that I could have that corrected but when I checked the proper circle to get the right gender, they wanted a credit card number from me. NO F'ING WAY! . For one it would not undo maIe even after I checked TS/TG/TV . I quickly deactivated that account after not even a full day. There have been several other things with alt. that I do not like so it is just best for me to part ways from alt

I have been on alt for many years over 12 + years and even had a paid Gold account at one tome under a different handle and wanted to stop that account cuz I did not see enough differences between paid and free accounts that was worth the money. Back then a paid member could contact and correspond with a standard member at any time. Not any more though and now a paid member has to pay extra for that privilege. That was when I told alt that I wanted to cancel my paid account and they continued to ding my credit card for 3 more months and until I contacted them again and had to deal with some jerk that said I canceled my account wrong and it was my fault. I do not see any rules laid down for cancelling an account other than a 30 day notice. I gave them 30 days notice and they continued to ding my credit card for 3 months after it was supposed to stop. With some harsh language and threats between me and the jerk they did credit 2 months back to my credit card. They still kept 1 more month than they should have after my cancellation. I have heard other horror stories of other having the same unpleasant experience with alt.

There are just many bad stories I can tell about alt. Just read all the comments above and add them all up and plus a few more and it will tell that they are not user friendly. I will probably be gone by the first of next week. The reason I have taken a little time is I wanted folks to know why I am leaving this shyster site.
