Sorry taxi, but I have no idea without knowing more but it is a lovely thought

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing. George Bernard Shaw

Get them when they are old enough to appreciate them. Whenever that is.

I would get the ponies when the kids are ready to take great care of them!

What will you do, with the pony's, if they dont like the horses? or are afraid? or want a dog, goldfish? hamster?

Who is going to take care of the animals? If the childeren are to small?

Do you see it as an investment? or...?

just some questions that come to my mind....

To love and care for animals is always a good idea and teaches lots of life lessons, however my view on ponies (or any other pets) for children are ..
1. Only if you have the space ,
2 - only if you have the time,
3 - only if you can afford it
and most importantly of all
4 - only if they shown a lot of interest in them,
I have seen to many wonderful animals brought than abandoned as the so called owners grow tired of the commitment and move on to the next craze.
