i was left tied up, naked, and spread-eagled at a hotel and the Mistress left. i was there for hours. She must have made arrangements with two of the maids to come in to release me. They came into the room took pictures and released me and watched me dress.

I try to live by the Rockefeller Principle "Don't do anything you wouldn't be caught dead doing, or have to explain to the paramedics". I had a situation where I stumbled going downstairs to fetch something, and yes there was someone tied naked to the bed above. Since then I have always tried to ensure that there is either a way out (probably not an easy one but achievable in an emergency) or a phone that is reachable. I normally try to make sure that the phone option is there.

It is something to think about. Before I got hooked up with a nearby dungeon I worried about my self bondage and used a lot of ice locks that would free me with time. One time they took several more hours to melt than I had planned, I waited, and waited, and got worried and waited.

I have a friend I use as a safety, if I don't check in by set times she knows where I am. I bailed her out of trouble once and hope she never has to do the same for me. I do a lot of self bondage and my ice lock once took way too long to thaw, leaving me hanging for a long time. Test and double test.
