Another McCartney Love Song.

Regardless of the excellence and artifice, they become, over time, oddly expected.

You should have told her.

And, for the record, I made it perfectly clear I had strong feelings for her, with great care, and interest in meeting in person and joining in person and living in person and being one in person and growing together in person.

So there. Please don't detour what is said here into an insistence that men don't communicate. That would be a very Aro thing to do.

... and we thank you, for your support ...

A song comes to mind, also by the Beatles (they were on my mind last night while listening to Rickenbacker 325C64 renditions). Golden Slumbers - Carry That Weight - The End.

I feel, the love and we make we have, is out there like radio waves passing through the Universe long after we heard them. Relationships end, is the love we had while in them diminished when they end, regardless how they ended?

... ooo, look, the disagreeing troll has changed his name and done some voting!
A cowardly little dweeb who is, nevertheless, a real dom.

Well, in the midst of withdrawal, I admit to being ethereallly impaired right now. So I understand your larger point that love moves through the universe, but at the moment I don't buy a bit of it. Love is a force of attraction between two bodies. And as magnets, separated, reveal themselves to be no different nor more powerful than a mere paperclip, so it is with the human heart when separated, isolated and alone.

But, yunno, your mileage may vary.
One of us should write a post about guitars as surrogates.

If you can't reasonably predict what reactions you will get from a simple blog post, how is it possible to actually pair up with a more complicated female? I'm confused by what it is about my post that prompted both you and DancingDom above to respond with songs. I'm not condeming you, simply surprised and a bit astonished. And, I'll confess, a bit annoyed in general by reality right now.

My apologies.

Well when one magnetic body moves outside the field of another magnetic body, eventually it will move through the fields of other magnetic bodies. The stronger magnetic body prevail.

I have just thought how guitars are surrogates. Many shaped like women. But I have never heard of a guitar breaking anyone's heart.

In my world, the number of magnetic bodies, the number of bodies with powers of attraction, is very small. One can roam through many years, through many galaxies, as a mere paperclip.

What we had was a reflection of what we wanted, not was. Looking back and realizing that those moments really were precious is important. Understanding that those moments came with tantamount amounts of pain is also important. One can be sitting right next to ones love, the burning essence of all this emotion you speak of....and still miss them. Words are important...actions more so.

I am sorry you are hurting, I understand dearly. ....yet, if your writings were true, you were starving whilst eating, hungering and wasting away....now.....that is replaced by longing. Longing for what was, even if it wasn't right. Longing for would could have been if only. The hurting will fade. The longing will not.

That longing is what makes us human.

I won't offer music because whilst ya'll are all soft and sentimental...I'd be more like NIN. Hey, we each manage in our own way. As always, yours in friendship, sophi...xox

Thanks for the explanation. Can't say I'm feeling too into music, but I appreciate the interest and effort.

Ah yes ... "reflection of what we wanted", or as I say "projecting". And "starving whilst eating", that is quite good too. Very good. Deep breath afterwards good. As for longing, well, that's a Film Noir darkness very bleak - and there are millions of people worse off than I.

I hope you and yours and your new wood business is the wood one would.

My Galaxies is about the same as yours. The older I get, the more the Galaxy expand. My enthusiasm for such magnetic attractions see to fad proportionally to the expanding Universe.

... and must say, I am surprised no one felt moved to comment on any of the artistic works I mentioned (even in the face of multiple suggested musical works).

Funny, though no ha-ha.
