Love of cake is really the secret urge that keeps us all going. Don't believe the deniers who would turn us all into salad fetishists.

Besides, I estimate 45 minutes of light exercise should walk off that little cake. I may just take a stroll down to the bakery.

Those curves probably look good on you. Instead of cutting back on cake, I just make healthier versions. I have 2 recipes that are favorites with my co-workers. Gluten free brownies with a Baileys ganache, and coconut brownies with almonds, very tasty without any white flour.

I do believe that part of the basis of a happy life can be found in compromise and moderation. So how about we share the cake.... but get twice as many becaue yup... lifes too short not to eat the dammed cake or buy the dammed shoes.

Good to see ya

I remember you from way back when. We have about the same number of years here. Nice to see you around again.

Yes, I’ve noticed you haven’t been here as much (but then my own ‘attendance’ has been sporadic). Lovely photo!

I’m far too slim (not due to my own choosing) so it can feel that we can never win. Interestingly I have never liked cakes. I suppose many people would say it’s a blessing...

What I do know is that you’re gorgeous.

One should enjoy the little things in life...morning coffee and a pastry or well made croissant is pretty damn bliss, for me that is, with no worries or regrets.

I peek in on you periodically. It's good to see you! Love the pic! Yes, I eat the cake and sometimes, dessert first.
