Age-ism aka Daddy doesn't understand why I drink Ensure

I don't actually drink Ensure...but it seemed like comedy gold when I wrote it!

So I'm curious if anyone else is "age-ist" when it comes to their preferences. I have found that I cannot see myself submitting to someone younger than me. Domination and submission are obviously a state of mind, and there is nothing inherently wrong with a younger Dom and an older sub. If there is a mental and physical attraction, then wooo! Go You, get on with your bad self.

I simply cringe a bit at the idea of dating or submitting to a younger man, no matter how many years of experience he might have. Especially since I have a bit of interest in ageplay. The idea of calling someone "Daddy" who is younger than me would just be laughable. Obviously, this restricts the pool of eligible Masters for me.

Life experience is important to me. I want to know that my Master has been around the block, graduated from the School of Hard Knocks, and empathizes with my joint pain. I've had younger men hit on me, and all I could think was...oh no, I am NOT dating someone who I could have given birth to or even someone who doesn't understand why it was a big deal when 1999 turned over to the year 2000.

Am I being age-ist? Could I be missing out on an "old soul?" Do I care? No. I'm too old to care. (sips Ensure cocktail)

I wonder if this could be partly do with gender? I wouldn’t necessarily want to be with a younger man (and never have) but I’ve happily dominated older men and it hasn’t been an issue for them either...

Not totally discounting dominating a younger man should a situation arise but I’m generally not attracted to youth. I also like maturity.

I can't be age-ist. There isn't anybody older than me, and very few who are younger.
